Whilton Mill Karting Academy
Whilton Mill now offers coaching for Bambinos, Cadets, and Juniors who are looking to progress from arrive-and-drive experiences into competitive kart racing.
The programme combines in-depth training modules, including mechanical STEM workshops, one-to-one coaching, simulator sessions, practice sessions, and time lapping.
These elements work together to help beginners develop into well-rounded and competitive drivers.
Once pupils have graduated from the WM Karting Academy, they will be eligible to compete in our Graduate Championship.
Note: Bambinos & Cadets will utilise our 450m Mill Circuit, while Juniors will utilise our 960m National Circuit.

Core skills are taught by our training partner, Espire. Espire are providers of STEM based learning using the medium of motorsport to schools globally. Over six in-depth modules lasting 4 hours covering safety, kart control, race-craft, mechanics, and engineering. Each module is different and offers a unique insight into the science of going fast.

Race Camp
Half-Term & Summer Race Camps
- Age Range: Suitable for drivers aged 6-11 (Bambino or Cadet classes)
- You get: WMKA T-Shirt, a certificate upon completion, awards, with the chance of being scouted for the Karting Academy.
- Guided Track Walk: Start the day with expert guidance from WMKA instructors.
- On-Track Sessions: Enjoy six 10-minute on-track sessions with accompanying off-track coaching and feedback.
- Instruction and debriefs: All track or sim sessions are wrapped with expert intructions and debriefs from the WMKA Instructor team.
- Simulator Sessions: Engage in six 10-minute simulator sessions, including practice and race.
- Refreshments Provided: Lunch and refreshments are included for all participants.
- Top-Quality Equipment: Drive BirealArt N32 160cc cadet karts on the 450m Mill Circuit.

One Sunday per month, members have the opportunity to do just that, structured sessions allowing pupils to practice what they learnt having attended an Academy Module.
