Whilton Mill Ltd announce track enhancements…

22 Feb 2024

Whilton Mill Ltd is thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to its karting facilities. Last year, the company engaged Driven International who are responsible for some of the best karting tracks in the world to discuss some track improvements, these discussions have led to the creation of a new series of corners in the final sector of the track.

These changes, endorsed by Motorsport UK, aim to elevate the technical challenge, and enrich the driving experience for everyone competing at Whilton Mill. Work is set to begin on March 11th, 2024, and conclude by March 20th, 2024, in time for the Whilton Mill Kart Club Championship round on 23-24 March and Motorsport UK British O Plate Championship event on 29-31 March.

“The enhancements in the final sector of the ever-popular Whilton Mill will not only elevate the technical challenge but also add a new dimension to the driving experience, setting a new challenge for competitors at Whilton Mill for years to come,” said Dan Parker, Head of Karting, Motorsport UK

“The last corner at Whilton Mill has undergone various changes over the years, and we anticipate that this next evolution will be welcomed by the karting community. It symbolizes our ongoing commitment to reinvest in the facilities, ensuring they remain a top-notch venue for kart racing,” said Daniel Whittemore, Executive Director, Whilton Mill Ltd.

Dates for owner driver testing on the new International Circuit will be announced shortly. Please check Alpha Timing for dates and to book.
