Ultra GP – competitive rental kart racing at a competitive price…

New for 2023, the Ultra GP has been designed for rental kart racing enthusiasts.
Compete in a series of point scoring heats to determine who starts from pole for the final. Every driver starts from a front, middle and back grid position during the heats. To level the field, competitors are allocated a different kart in each heat.
Ultra GP’s take place on the 1st Monday of every month. At £65 per driver the Ultra GP promises competitive racing at competitive prices.

“Whilton Mill is popular for grassroots racing, we have a busy club scene, host British Championship rounds, as well as other topflight national series, and was the most raced at outdoor go-kart circuit in 2022” said Daniel Whittemore, Executive Director. “For our rental kart racing enthusiasts, we wanted a format that mirrors our club racing, and the Ultra GP does just that. Drivers compete in three heats with front, middle and back starting positions, like grassroots club racing. Heats are point scoring and set the grid for the final. To begin with, the Ultra GP’s are standalone races, however, we plan to launch Ultra GP championship events this Spring.”
The first Ultra GP takes place on 6th March at 18:30.
