With spring in the air, the Easter Holidays are the perfect time to enjoy outdoor activities. So, if you are planning a day out with the kids, check out our junior experiences for ideas of things to do this Easter. But you don’t have to be a kid to enjoy a day out at Whilton Mill Karting & Outdoor Activities, as we also have lots to offer adults. Just off the M1, near Daventry, our venue is easily accessible from Banbury, Bedford, Bicester, Brackley, Buckingham, Coventry, Kettering, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Northampton, and Rugby.
With over 30-years’ experience, karting is what we’re renowned for. Our best-selling package is the Arrive & Drive. Pre-booking is required but everything else is taking care of. We provide a kart, helmet, race suit and gloves. Once booked, you simply Arrive & Drive. Arrive & Drive experiences are suitable for drivers aged 8 up. New in 2021, this is a great activity for adventurous souls, aged 6 up. Crazi-bugz are an all-electric six-wheeled buggy that junior off-road drivers get to enjoy around our powered adventure play course. There’s plenty of obstacles to challenge the young explorers, including a water splash.
Now one for the big kids. In March 2022, we took delivery of a new fleet of Quadzilla QZ300’s. These are 300cc 4WD go anywhere ATV’s. Just like any off-road 4×4 experience, our instructors will take you on a journey around the Whilton Mill site that fully test the ability of both bike and rider. A great activity to enjoy with a loved one or friends, aged 16 up.
A sport requiring excellent hand-eye coordination, there’s something very satisfying about breaking your first clay target. Our instructors will guide you through the basics of clay target shooting, including safety. They’ll give you tips that will quickly have you hitting targets.
Make it a day to remember by starting or finishing the day with a meal in our restaurant. Whilton Mill stands out from other karting venues, as our hospitality is second to none. The burgers are outstanding, made with 100% beef sourced from locally reared cattle. And there’s always a great selection of specials such as Peri-Peri Loaded Fries.
