The story behind the show
Long before Calvin’s Car Diary became a staple of the UK automotive calendar, Calvin’s obsession with cars began just like many of ours: as a young boy accompanying his father to local car shows and races. That early spark grew into a lifelong mission. As he got older, Calvin noticed a distinct gap in the community – a lack of dedicated events designed purely for everyday car enthusiasts to connect without the weight of intense competition or judgment.
He envisioned a welcoming environment where the entire spectrum of car culture could gather, share stories, and appreciate incredible builds. Six years later, that vision continues to thrive right here at Whilton Mill. It’s a beautifully poetic full-circle moment, making it the absolute perfect event to experience alongside your own dad this Father’s Day.
