Media Accreditation & Trackside Guidelines

Overview & Media Policy

Overview & Media Policy

Whilton Mill welcomes professional journalists, photographers, videographers, and content creators.

To ensure the safety of drivers, marshals, visitors, and media personnel, trackside access is strictly regulated.

All creators operating on-site – whether for independent media outlets, teams, or personal portfolio work – must hold valid Whilton Mill Media Accreditation prior to entering restricted areas.

The files required for acknowledgement are at the bottom of this webpage.

Please note that photography and video recording takes place regularly at Whilton Mill. By visiting our site, guests and spectators acknowledge that they may appear in background or promotional content. If you have specific privacy requirements, kindly get in touch prior to visiting us.

Non-Negotiable Terms of Access

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Safety is our absolute priority. Trackside access is a privilege, not a right.

Failure to comply with official venue guidelines, marshal instructions, or safety protocols will result in immediate revocation of your media accreditation and a potential permanent ban from future Whilton Mill events.

Zero-Tolerance Violations Include:

Entering restricted or prohibited zones (e.g., runoff areas, track surface, designated danger zones).

Refusing or ignoring direct instructions from track marshals or venue officials.

Flying unauthorised drones (UAVs) anywhere within venue airspace.

Operating trackside without a mandatory hi-vis tabard/vest and valid media accreditation.

Distracting drivers or obstructing officials while sessions are live.

Unprofessional, aggressive, or unsafe conduct on-site or across social media channels representing the venue.
