Team Building

Team Building Events

Make Whilton Mill your first choice for your team building events.

We have a wide range of team building activities that include :
Ice breaker: The aim is to start the group of people taking to each other. A sticker of a famous person is placed on everyone's forehead and the task is to identify who you are by asking one question at a time.
Motivation course: A series of 8 purpose built and challenging obstacles including; hurdles, scramble net, chain bridge, wall and balance beams. The grand finale is the Burma Bridge Crossing.
Orienteering: Mentally stimulating and enjoyable, this challenge takes you and your team over rolling countryside and through wooded areas in the bid to locate markers and stamps for your score card.
Semaphor challenge: Promotes and identifies real planners, leaders, team contributors and communicators amongst groups. This is done through non-verbal communication using a number of props-flags, ropes and torches.
Giant receptors & depositors: Standing from either side a barriers, the aim to pass a football from one spoon to another without dropping it. However the trouble is that the spoon holders will be blindfolded.
Electric fence: You are faced with an electric fence (metaphorically speaking) which is made up of a series of wire. Armed with only 2 planks of wood, you must find the most effective way to transfer your team through, over or under the conundrum.
minefield: a mass of tangled wires one foot above the ground. One of you will be blindfolded and the aim is to make is through the maze without touching any wires.
Giant board  games: You can choose from the following 6 games; Connect 4, Downfall, Jenga, Battleships, Chess and Draughts.
Human draughts: Leapfrogs abound to take opponents, piggy backs denote Kings or Queens in a highly entertaining game of strategic planning, skill and a bit of luck!
The great british indoor egg race: As a team of architects your mission is to devise the tallest structure possible that will hold a 140,000 tonne giant concrete egg.

Team Motivation

Team motivation days are designed to enhance communication & enhance co-operation between your staff and your colleagues, planning, goal setting and delegation. These are not always the skills that come naturally to everyone.

Our team motivation course is designed to address this skills along with participants having lots of fun.
We will listen, establish your requirements and ensure that we understand your objectives and will tailor an event to suit your needs.

We have qualified instructors who will ensure that you achieve your objectives, however no pressure will be given to people that do not wish to participate.

Physical fitness is not essential as emphasis is on mental challenge.

For your team building events make Whilton Mill your first choice.
