Description

The first step for young racers. The Whilton Mill Bambino Academy is just the place to nurture their ambition and drive, with the focus firmly on safety and instruction. Children from 6 to 8 can enjoy the excitement of karting and the Bambino Academy concentrates on the basics of learning to drive a kart. Each child is given a one-to-one briefing covering safety awareness, steering, cornering and pedal control, as well as breaking zones.
Young drivers can really improve their skills with Bronze, Silver and Gold modules to complete on the Mill Circuit.  Our experienced team of staff are specifically trained to teach younger drivers the safest and quickest way round the challenging corners and hairpin bends of our 450 metre track.

Suggested Clothing

We provide race suits, helmets and gloves. We suggest that children wear comfortable clothing, layers are a good idea as they can be removed or put on during the day if conditions change. Remember children can chill quickly if the weather is bad. Any sturdy footwear is fine, just don't wear anything with an open toe.
